EarthLink | Wireless Home Internet

In late 2022, EarthLink launched a new service targeting rural and exurban prospects to increase coverage from 78% of the U.S. to cover more than 96% of Americans with Wireless Home Internet. The service works on cell towers instead of wired fiber or cable service, so it’s an outstanding option for many in areas with minimal coverage from those types of internet. We launched with a major campaign including web pages, blog content, social media posts, inline ads putting our blog content to work, and a soft PR launch primarily to industry media.

 Campaign Videos

We worked with an agency to create the initial introductory video for Wireless Home Internet. Then, when the budget changed, we brought the remaining three videos in house. I created those 3 videos telling the story on screen and through visuals — thus negating the need for voiceover and additional animation expenses. This allowed us to complete the campaign within new budget constraints.

Media + Coverage

Working with leadership and stakeholders, I created a press release primarily targeted at key industry media. I was able to secure a handful of interviews with those publications and get the desired national coverage for the soft launch.
