Editorial

For more than 15 years, I’ve been a contributing writer, editor, and editor-in-chief for a variety of media outlets and publications. From women’s health and wellness to international travel, from film reviews to visual arts and performances, I’ve written about practically everything. One thread that weaves itself through much of my editorial career is writing for and about women.

When I was an editor for Pregnancy & Newborn magazine, a national magazine with millions of readers, everything was centered first around women’s health and wellness. Then we could talk about feeling beautiful and being body positive while everything is changing. I also created and launched two women’s magazines, Conversational and The BroadSheet. Later, Fortune magazine launched their own newsletter under that same title, so I get a few follows a month on LinkedIn from folks thinking we are one and the same.

As a writer and editor, I pride myself on:

  1. Being able to simply explain complex topics, and

  2. Getting a great interview.

  3. Ideating multiple topics to fill the book

  4. Helping a writer get to the best possible draft while maintaining their stamp on the piece.
