Create writer’s guidelines for onboarding new contributors to online women’s magazine

Part of the onboarding process for writers was to introduce them to the Conversational brand in more depth. This included an overview of the audience, the voice of the brand, deadlines and deliverables, the editorial calendar, and content guidelines.

I would also schedule time to review these and answer any questions. We also held an annual gathering for the writers to connect in person.

Case studies serve multiple purposes: they underscore a success achieved for a client when reviewing the retainer relationship, and they allow prospective clients to see the strategies and tactics the resource can bring to bear for their brand.

This case study touches on key data points while telling the story of social media management for a major staffing company in Atlanta.

Influencer Marketing Pitch | EarthLink

Research and present alternative marketing concepts to extend brand reach for U.S. ISP

I recommended adding both influencer marketing and podcast sponsorship to tap a key market of men aged 35-54.

Both required extensive research into options since this would be new territory for the brand, but the budget estimate was strictly for conversation. I met with four radio and podcast services to gather information about options and sought out more DIY options for sponsorships and influencer outreach.

Monthly Corporate Newsletter | Black Bear Design

Manage monthly newsletter for clients to share agency updates and highlight services

Each month, Black Bear Design, a digital marketing agency headquartered in Atlanta, sent a newsletter to all clients and leads. It highlighted current projects, services, company news, new hires, and more about the brand.

Working with leadership and the design team, I developed the sections for the newsletter, interviewed key players, and created the content, and added it to the email template in the CRM, SharpSpring.

Pitched and created corporate employee newsletter to improve internal communications

In 2022, I recommended that the ISP add a monthly newsletter to enhance communications with corporate employees. The goal was to raise awareness of upcoming events, holidays, milestones, product launches, and media coverage.

The in-house email marketing team created a template in our CRM, Iterable. Working with HR, department heads, and leadership, I created the content to ensure it was relevant and timely for the team.
